      Anne Marie Galmstrup from Henning Larsen Architects participated last week in the conference Danish Cultural Days in Holstebro. She was invited to speak at the conference on cultural institutions’ impact on urban development in the Middle East.

    • The culture and leisure committee of the Municipality of Holstebro organizes the conference. The topic this year was ‘World culture – home and abroad?’ The conference focused on European and international trends in art and culture’s role in urban development projects. Danish Cultural Days were held at 18-19 April 2012 and a number of Danish cultural personages were invited to speak at the conference. Among those the chairman of The Danish Arts Agency, Rune Gade, news director on TV2, Michael Dyrby and artist Ingvar Cronhammar. Danish Cultural Days is a meeting point for politicians, officials and leaders in cultural life. The purpose of the conference is to create common inspiration and reflections. The conference is held every second year and features ongoing cultural political discussions on the basis of presentations from several personages from the art and cultural field. Anne Marie is Associate Partner at Henning Larsen Architects and currently based in Beirut, Lebanon. She has worked on projects in the Middle East for more than nine years and has lived in the region since 2009.
