As lead design architect, Ósbjørn has been responsible for developing the concept designs of several large international projects - with a particular focus on cultural and educational buildings. This has provided him with profound experience in managing architectural processes and ensuring a continuous, constructive dialogue with collaboration partners and clients.

Since the project started in 2004, Ósbjørn has been one of the driving forces behind the design of Harpa - Reykjavik Concert Hall and Conference Centre and the masterplan for the eastern harbour of Reykjavik. From 2008 until the summer of 2011, Ósbjørn was stationed in Iceland, leading the realisation of these projects. Previously, he has been one of the driving forces behind the design of the new IT University in Ørestad City, Copenhagen.
