Interior fittings, lighting and conversion of the space have been subject to the restrictions that apply to a scheduled building. Concurrently, the aim is to create unique and modern facilities based on the history and values of Kronborg.
The interplay between the furnishing, the lighting and the outline of a graphic identity (signage etc.) is an interpretation of the history of the castle. With the interior fittings, the Palaces and Properties Agency is signalling openness and renewed use of the historical castles and buildings in Denmark.
