You will join our High-Rise Buildings Department
As our new Lead Engineer– High Rise Structures you will be part of our global High-Rise department, Ramboll’s dedicated team of high-rise experts which have designed over 150 tall building projects globally, including some of the most technically challenging. You would be responsible for coordinate with project managers and/or engineers for Analysis and Design work in the High-Rise department in Mumbai to support the global department which also has offices in Copenhagen, UK, Middle East, and Singapore.
Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
- Structural Design of
- Experience in designing and modelling High Rise and complex structures using
- Able to interpret soil investigation report and use appropriate geological design parameters.
- Able to work independently and have to coach or instruct team members.
- Responsible for reviewing submission documents prepared by team.
- Apply practical knowledge typically obtained through advanced education and some work experience. Understands the specific needs or requirements of specific problems and apply skills/knowledge thereafter.
- Prepare design specifications and design criteria.
- Designing pre-cast and post tensioned structures would be an advantage.
- Be responsible for analysis, generation of structure loading schemes, wind and seismic loading calculations and Design of structures.
- Design and detailing for concrete and other materials.
- Working out the loads and stresses on different parts of a structure
- Using computer simulations to predict how structures will react under different conditions with knowledge of basic analysis techniques against lateral loads.
- Utilize applicable national and international codes like Euro code, ACI etc. for Reinforced concrete design.

- Should be able to provide design and detailing inputs to technicians for developing REVIT Models and drawings.
