Member of Lyngby-Taarbæk City of Knowledge and Urban Development

Henning Larsen has become member of Lyngby-Taarbæk Municipality’s initiative City of Knowledge and Urban Development – an ambitious and results-oriented partnership comprised of selected companies, municipality, educational and research institutions in the local area.

    • Henning Larsen's membership is a continuation of the company’s involvement in the Kanalvej development in Lyngby, where Danica Pension Fund in collaboration with Henning Larsen Architects, COWI and ALECTIA are behind a new mixed-use development comprising student housing, retail and Microsoft’s new Danish headquarters.

”It is important for us to engage in close, trustful collaboration with the many stakeholders of the city. This is the foundation for a successful development of the Kanalvej area, which is designed to bring citizens, students and businesses closer together. Our membership of City of Knowledge and Urban Development allows us to help secure that this happens”, says Anders Sælan, Associate Partner and Architect at Henning Larsen Architects.

The vision for City of Knowledge and Urban Development is to develop Lyngby-Taarbæk into an attractive, dynamic knowledge and university city for businesses, citizens, students, tradesmen and other users of the city.

In connection with the project, Henning Larsen Architects will open a project office adjacent to the plot.
