      CEO Elected for the Central Board of Confederation of Danish Industry

      CEO and Partner of Henning Larsen, Mette Kynne Frandsen has been elected to the Central Board and the Executive Committee of the Confederation of Danish Industry, DI.

    • DI is a private organisation funded, owned and managed entirely by 10,000 companies, associations and branch federations within manufacturing, trade and service industry, e.g. The Danish Association of Architectural Firms. DI works to provide the best conditions for Danish businesses in order to improve the opportunities for growth and overall competitiveness.

      ‘I am very honoured with this election, which means that the architectural industry with have a stronger voice within corporate Denmark. As the CEO of an architectural firm, I am used to working with projects of large complexity, where solutions are found through a collaborative and innovative approach. I will address my position in DI with the same approach’, states Mette Kynne Frandsen. ‘Danish architectural firms are currently very successful outside Denmark. A reason for this success is the fact that we are industry leaders, when it comes sustainable architecture. As the CEO of a medium size firm operating in a global market, I am very focused on developing the opportunities of international growth even further’.

      The Central Board of DI counts 51 members and the Central Committee has 12 members. The election took place at the Annual General Meeting on September 27, 2016.
