      Henning Larsen Strengthens the Management Team

      Henning Larsen is seeing an increase in international projects and is now gearing up for further growth.

    • The latest financial report demonstrated a significant increase in revenues stemming from international work – now constituting 73 % up from 61 % the previous year. With the recruitment of three global profiles and the appointment of a Head of Operations in the office in Copenhagen, Henning Larsen gears up for further international growth.

      Henning Larsen has offices in Hong Kong, Munich, Riyadh, Oslo and The Faroe Islands. In September, an office in New York joined the family. The vision is clear, Henning Larsen is headed towards a strong global position.

      CEO and Partner at Henning Larsen, Mette Kynne Frandsen explains:

      ”We are experiencing significant international growth and we are present with offices in key global locations. With a strong architectural partner group, we are now expanding Henning Larsen’s global management with other profiles that can enhance the synergies between our offices and position the company globally.”

      To ensure that the growing international demand is converted into growth, Henning Larsen has now appointed the following key people:

      • Director for Business Development & Marketing, Frida Ferdinand
      • Commercial Director, Rasmus Riis Andersen
      • Global Communications Director, Dan Bjerg Hansen
      • Head of Operations in Copenhagen, Helle Basse Larsen

       

      Further information:

      Frida Ferdinand is appointedDirector for Business Development & Marketing. She is a trained business economist from Copenhagen Business School and The London School of Economics. Her profile is international with many years of experience among other as Project Director for Danish Cleantech Hub under The Confederation of Danish Industry in New York and before that held a position within mergers & acquisition for Quayle Munro in London.

      Rasmus Riis Andersen is the new Commercial Director. He holds a M.Sc. in Economics and Management from Aarhus University with experience from the world of consultancy working with strategy development and implementation. He was previously employed as Senior Business Developer at FOSS Analytics.

      Helle Basse Larsen is appointed Head of Operations. She is educated at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 1986. Helle Basse Larsen has worked for Henning Larsen since 1996, and is a highly skilled manager of processes relating to both project management and teams. On a running basis, she has added substantial further training and courses to her CV and developed solid experience as Project Manager for a large number of Henning Larsen’s most significant projects. She will be responsible for the project portfolio and human resources management in the office in Copenhagen, being the largest of Henning Larsen’s offices with 160 employees.

      Dan Bjerg Hansen is Henning Larsen’s new Global Communications Director. He has studied History of Ideas at Aarhus University with further training from the School of Journalism. Dan has international experience with brand positioning and strategic communication. For the last 6 years he has worked for Hummel, latest as Global Head of Branding and Communication.
