For the fall semester, we are looking for interns with a passion for urban development, daylight, microclimate, and materials to join our multidisciplinary sustainability team:
• Urban Spaces, Microclimate, and Generative Design
• Architecture, Daylight, and Simulations
• Transformation, Circular Economy, and Social Sustainability
(If you have a preference between the roles listed above, please note it in the application)
Urban spaces, Microclimate, and Generative Design
From Scandinavia to the Middle East, microclimate design is one of Henning Larsen’s core competencies. Are you interested in learning more about urban development through sustainable design approaches, you should apply to join our team that works strategically with the height, orientation, and density of buildings, to improve sites through climate design, daylight, sun, energy optimization, certifications and microclimate.
> If you thrive with programs like Grasshopper it is a plus.
Architecture, Daylight, and Simulations
We believe that the key to sustainable design is the interaction between architecture and technology, so if you are interested in developing grasshopper scripts and doing in depth analysis of architectural projects through simulations, you would be a perfect fit for our department. You can improve your skills in sustainable design, façade design and use of materials, through simulations and site analysis as you work alongside the architectural team.
> If you thrive with programs like Grasshopper, Ladybug, Honeybee, and Revit it is a plus.
Transformation, Circular Economy, and Social Sustainability
Renovation and transformation are often more sustainable than building new and is a powerful tool to increase social sustainability. Are you interested in learning more about transformations through a sustainable and circular design approach, you should apply to join our team. You can improve your skills in sustainable design, Circular economy and use of materials as you work alongside the architectural team.
> If you thrive with programs like Rhino and Revit it is a plus.
You are currently enrolled in a relevant education, preferably in your master education or has at least finished two years of your bachelor and feel motivated to learn more. You thrive in a dynamic and energetic work environment and if you feel comfortable with visually communicating your results and findings it is a big plus. A general skillset in working with programs from the Adobe Package, Rhino and Revit is a plus, but you will be trained in the softwares and methods of the studio.
We welcome applicants of all nationalities, but given the international character at our studio, candidates must be fluent in English, Danish is a plus. Applicants must be enrolled during the entire internship and the internship has to be part of your studies.
What can you expect from the internship?
