We are looking for a Business Development manager to join our global design community. As our new BD Manager based in Singapore, you will be joining a dedicated team that strategically drives client and sales excellence. Our business development team is instrumental in generating, securing, prioritizing and winning the projects that establish Henning Larsen as an international sustainable design studio. As we grow internationally, we need you to help us secure and generate new project opportunities, successful partnerships and collaborations in the APAC region.

What are we offering?
Joining our team in the Singapore office, you will be part of a global design studio working with projects of all scales and sizes, in the realm of architecture, landscape architecture and urban design. Working closely with the Design Directors heading our APAC markets, you will be instrumental in driving Henning Larsen’s APAC business development from Singapore. Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
• Develop and implement go-to-market strategies
• Conduct market research and outreach in new business opportunities and partnerships
• Identify. manage, prepare and track opportunities from lead stage to competition independently and together with the team
• Track and report on new business leads
• Collaborate on marketing campaigns and events with the team
• Manage stakeholders, partnerships and provide strategic advisory to our design directors
• Manage our CRM database
• Cross organizational coordination with our global Business Development and Communication team
What are we looking for?
As our new Business Development Manager, you will be part of our Singapore office with a team of architects, landscape architects and urban designers. We are a dynamic and diverse team that are instrumental for the quality and growth of Henning Larsen. You will be involved in our quest to become the leading business development team that proactively secures new business opportunities and follows through to win both PQs and design competitions.
For this role, we believe your starting point is:
• Relevant degree on bachelor’s or master’s level
• A proven track record of minimum 3-5 years of work within similar position working with strategic business development and/or marketing communications
• Experience in the AEC industry and have an established network and understanding of the environment – both public and private clients
• A strong communicator – fluent in written and verbal English; proficiency in Chinese is an advantage
• Talent for writing concisely and for summarizing key information
• A team player that thrives in a high-paced environment – agile, dedicated and believe in team spirit
