Henning Larsen Foundation honours Henrik Sten Møller and Kjeld Kjeldsen

Each year on the founder’s birthday on 20 August, the Henning Larsen Foundation recognises individuals who have demonstrated significant achievements in the field of architecture. This year, the Foundation bestows grants on journalist Henrik Sten Møller recognizing his many articles and books on architecture and architect Kjeld Kjeldsen for his work with architecture exhibitions at Louisiana.

    • At the ceremony, CEO Kent Martinussen, Danish Architecture Centre, stated the reason behind the Board’s selection of Henrik Sten Møller as one of this year’s grant recipients. Kent Martinussen, for instance, said: “Through almost half a century, you have contributed with contemporary architecture reviews and dissemination of architecture of the highest calibre – thus, you have been a very central figure in the establishment of this genre in Denmark.” In his speech, architect Troels Troelsen gave the reason for the choice of Kjeld Kjeldsen as the second grant recipient: “Your ground-breaking, comprehensive, inspiring and easily accessible dissemination of architecture in a broad sense at a world museum for modern art as Louisiana is an accomplishment that the Henning Larsen Foundation wants to recognise.”
