      Official Opening of the Hong Kong Office

      June 13th Henning Larsen Architects’ new office in Hong Kong was officially declared ‘open’. Mette Kynne Frandsen, CEO and Partner and Louis Becker, Director and Partner had joined the team in Hong Kong for the event. Amongst the more than 50 guests were Dr. Edmund Lee, Executive Director of the Hong Kong Design Centre as well as Ole Lindholm, Danish Consul General.

    • More than 50 guests joined the Hong Kong team for the opening of the Hong Kong Office on June 13th. The evening included a traditional ‘Ribbon Cutting’ ceremony, and with the speech from Mette Kynne Frandsen, CEO and Partner the Hong Kong Office was declared officially open:

      ”Today’s innovation is driven by global thinking and global networking and we want to be where things are happening. Looking at the world map Hong Kong stands out as one of the most important places to be a part of.”

      The office is managed by Elva Tang who was born and grew up in Hong Kong. She is trained as an architect with a degree from the US and has been affiliated with Henning Larsen Architects since 2004. The Design Director of the office is Claude Bøjer Godefroy. He is Danish-French and holds a degree from Aarhus School of Architecture. He has worked as design architect at Ateliers Jean Nouvel and has previously worked on several competitions in China for Henning Larsen Architects.
