With a wide range of events, presentations, and debates, the annual People’s Meeting focuses on strengthening democracy and promoting cross-sector dialogue in Denmark. Since 2011, the People’s Meeting has created a new framework for interactions between decision-makers in business, interest groups and politicians from Parliament, the EU, municipalities and regions. Discussions about architecture and sustainable construction are a great part of the program for the 2015 People’s Meeting.
This year, Henning Larsen Architects will be represented at the People’s Meeting by CEO Mette Kynne Frandsen, Design Director Louis Becker, and Partner and Manager of the Sustainability Department Signe Kongebro
Mette Kynne Frandsen will participate in a number of events: ‘Development in Africa’ hosted by BØRNEfonden on Friday from 10:30-11:00; ‘Build the industry better - better innovation in the Danish construction sector,' hosted by the Danish Architecture Centre (DAC) on Friday from 13: 00-14: 00; and, 'Round-table discussion: Management - where are we going?' hosted by The Confederation of Danish Industry (DI) on Friday from 14: 30-15: 30.
Louis Becker will participate in the event 'Danish design and architecture - a neglected competitive advantage?' hosted by Menings Ministeriet on Saturday from 13: 00-14:00.
Signe Kongebro will participate in the event 'Green building - do we have the competences?’ hosted by CONCITO on Friday from 8: 30-9: 30.
The program for this year's People's Meeting consists of about 2,600 events. More than 22,000 participants and more than 600 media professionals are expected to attend.
