Remiseparken is the winner of the anniversary edition of the Danish Landscape Prize. The transformation of Remiseparken is part of a major urban regeneration of the social housing neighborhood of Urbanplanen in Copenhagen, and the project has been developed in a collaboration between BOGL, Rambøll and SNE Architects with the City of Copenhagen as the client.
The winning project shows how green urban spaces can climate-proof cities, increase biodiversity and ensure social sustainability all in one.
The jury celebrates Remiseparken as an inclusive place with many refined details:
“Remiseparken offers quality, space, aesthetics and experiences that are extraordinary and serves as a great example of how many diverse needs, functional requirements and desires can be unified into one active project.”
The Danish Landscape Prize is awarded by Park og Naturforvalterne, Danish Association of Archtectural Firms and Danish Landscape Architects. The purpose is to honor landscape architectural works of significance that serve as inspiration for the development of the industry.
