    • With its timber-clad facades and deep skylight windows that allow the soft Nordic daylight to permeate the exhibition halls, the building stands as a modern version of the classical Swedish timber houses, granting identity and character to the area. Our extension adds modern workshop facilities and flexible exhibition halls to the open-air museum, which has existed for over a hundred years. These can be used by the organization's award-winning schools and educational services. The aim is to attract tourists with an interest in art and design to Östersund, hereby contributing to the town's economic growth and development.
