Founded in 1959 by architect Henning Larsen, we are an international studio for architecture, landscape, and urbanism. At the heart of our design philosophy is the play of light and nature. We bring joy to those who occupy our spaces by shaping the conditions for human interaction. We work at the nexus of creativity and experimentation, looking always to the lasting impact on communities and their environments.

The Henning Larsen Foundation

Established in 2001 to celebrate the legacy of our founder Henning Larsen, the Foundation is an independent organization that promotes and disseminates Danish architecture. In recent years, the Foundation has also arranged a series of international competitions.
Ownership

Henning Larsen is a part of the Ramboll Group, owned by the Ramboll Foundation. The shared vision is to create sustainable cities and buildings that answer global challenges. In 2019, we joined the Ramboll Group in order to further a joint ambition to pioneer tomorrow's sustainable design solutions. To be a partner for sustainable change, we believe that thinking, working, and innovating across disciplines has never been more essential.
