      Prequalified for Two Educational Buildings in Norway

      Henning Larsen has been prequalified for the competitions for two new educational buildings in Norway; one in Bergen and one in Horten south of Oslo.

    • For the competition of Horten Higher Educational Facility Henning Larsen Architects will cooperate with the Norwegian entrepreneurial firm Skanska. The team is prequalified for a total enterprise competition for the new Higher Educational Facility, which will hold around 1000 students and 200 staff members, measuring 18.000 m2.

      In Bergen, the city university, UiB, is expanding with a 17.000 m2 research facility centre, for research in energy and technology. The building has been named the EnTek-building and will take shape in a corporation between Henning Larsen Architects and Multiconsult, a Norwegian consulting firm. The vision of EnTek is to contribute to corporation and additional research in and across the existing facilities of UiB.

      Henning Larsen Architects is currently working on the biggest educational facility of Norway so far. The new Campus Ås will gather departments of the faculty for Veterinary Medicine and Bioscience of Ås University with the Norwegian Veterinary institute.
