Articulating spatial identities through experiential graphic design

Layered within spatial contexts, graphic concepts lend themselves to the nuanced qualities of place. From the functional aspects of signage systems and complex accessibility challenges to articulating spatial identities and place-making, experiential graphic design zooms into the infinite ways in which individuals encounter and navigate built spaces.

Approaching these encounters with compassion, our designs aim to enhance usability and engagement, facilitating welcoming conditions. Combining colors, materials, typography, and illustrations, we create stimulating and intuitive experiences that convey openness, promoting a sense of comfort and safety.

Through wide-scale analyses during the early stages of design, we develop holistic graphic concepts that include signage, information and exhibition graphics, graphics for glass walls, stairways, corridors, and more. In alignment with architecture, interiors, and the intrinsic values of the organization or institution, these concepts support navigation, identity, function, and enhance the emplaced experiences of users.
